The Internet Technology and Data Science Lab (IDLab) is interested in contributing as a work package leader and technical lead to a consortium in the "HORIZON-CL6-2024-BIODIV-01-8 Conservation and protection of carbon-rich and biodiversity-rich forest".
A consortium will develop protection strategies for European or tropical forests based on new predictive models of biodiversity change, improved monitoring techniques, and field-data methods that integrate technology such as artificial intelligence, IoT, robotics, or blockchain to better assess forest biodiversity and climate.
The expertise offered by IDLab:
-Improve monitoring techniques, including remote-sensing and field-data methods integrating technologies such as AI, IoT, and robotics, to assess better
biodiversity and climate aspects of forests.
We are looking for the following partners:
-Project lead with expertise in the conservation of biodiversity and forests
-2 Mediterranean forest locations for a Proof of Concept (POC)
