Seeking expertise:
The Department of Polymer Chemistry and Technology offers expertise in:
• polymer synthesis/modification/characterization
• microwave-assisted chemical recycling of polymer-based wastes (different PA types, PU foams, PET, etc.)
• mechanical recycling of polymers (here we can activate major composite producers that have significant quantities of unutilized scrap)
• nanocellulose preparation, modification, and utilization as reinforcement additive in polymer-based composites
• improvement of end-of-life options for products combining paper and plastics (utilization of biodegradable plastics)
• microplastics and marine litter.
