Opportunity to visit electrocoagulation pilot plant at disused Frongoch mine (UK, 26th May)
Seeking expertise:
Raw Minerals Helix members Elentec and the BETA Centre @ UVIC have been participating in the LIFE "Demine" project, coming to an end this June.
Elentec technology is reducing damage to the environment and recovering value and energy from waste.
Before "Demine" finishes, Elentec are hosting an Open Day at one of the pilot sites, the Frongoch disused mine in Wales, on 26th May 2022. The day will give the opportunity to examine the Elentec electrocoagulation system being used to remove zinc from the mine runoff. This is free of charge, and outdoors!
